Should you rebuild your website or improve what exists?
CodeAstra Tech · Engineering decision guide
Start with the problem
A dated appearance is not enough evidence for a rebuild. Start with the visitor task, content structure, editing constraints and measurable technical issues.
Define the scope
Separate content problems from platform problems. Missing service explanations and unclear calls to action may be fixed without replacing the underlying site.
Check the failure cases
Compare a targeted improvement scope with a rebuild, including redirects, migration, analytics continuity and editorial training. Preserve valuable existing URLs where possible.
Make the decision
Before launch, test forms, mobile navigation and the most important visitor journeys. A new design that breaks enquiry capture is not an improvement.
